World Peace
World Peace - a most praised and cherished ideal that has
throughout the ages been in the minds of those who opened theirs a bit more to
include others into it.
Unfortunately today we still haven't had much progress in the direction of that
ideal. To some it may seem to be much more an utopian idea at this point in
Man's development than it ever has been before. Still there is, and always has
been, good in mankind and, perhaps after the 'great purification' that may take
place in the very near future, people will wake up again to what is really
important - to care for and Love one another unselfishly.
World Peace via Unselfish Love
Taking the words "world peace" literally doesn’t necessarily mean a better world.
It doesn’t require that citizens or rulers be Unselfishly Loving, harmless, or
even just basically good - you can have world peace under horrible oppressive
leaders. In fact, that is a likely scenario soon to take place. But if you have
“world Unselfish Love”, you have a wonderful world, AND world peace. Thus,
rather than promoting peace, if you promote Unselfish Love, peace can’t help to
be a natural outcome also - along with many other wonderful things for the
people of the world. Even if you were in a position of MAJOR world power, you
could still only change the world starting with yourself, by changing “the man
in the mirror”. In reality, you’re lucky to change a few peoples lives, and
affect the world after you’ve changed, person to person, one-by-one. Then,
regardless of external conditions, you will have inner peace, freedom, and
you’ll be part of the right solution for helping others in the world find true
peace themselves.
